Long trip to Yuma, Arizona

We ended up driving down to Logan May 16th from Sheridan, where we spent the last night in our Apartment. The next morning we started our drive Yuma, Arizona to get our new home (the RV from my grandpa Brown). The drive down was nice. We drove in a SUV that we rented. It was very comfortable! (It made me want one all that much more!)

Rick and Ken (my father in Law) were the drivers. They drove strait through, taking turns driving till we reached our destination around 10:00pm.

I left Alexander in Newton with his grandmother Tammy and his aunties who took very good care of him. I was glad to have him in such good hands, but sad to leave him for such a long time. We were gone three days and three whole nights.

The last night there Grandpa took us out to eat and there was a baby there and it made me miss lex so much I could not wait to get home to him.

The guys got the RV fixed up as much as they could, and Jean and I cleaned the inside till it sparkled. Everything looked good, except the tires which needed to be replaced badly, but not having enough money to get new tires we started back home Sunday morning with a day full of prayers, so we would not have any complications and the Lord was willing to grant it to us.

We made it home the next morning around 8:00am tired and ready to sleep, most of that day we slept and then we started on our apartment to get all moved out. For some time it looked as though Rick would have to leave and have me finish up the apartment, because even though we had tones of help from our family, there was not enough time to go through everything in one or two night. We had to do some major downsizing. but things worked out and Rick was able to stay the rest of the week and we ended up leaving Sunday May 25.

I have since been working on getting things organized in the RV and have been getting a lot done I will put pictures up as soon as I am finished and more pictures of the trip up here as soon as I get the disposable camera developed.
