Visit to Logan

We went home to see our families this last weekend, it was a lot of fun! We drove to Logan Thursday, leaving at 2:00pm and we arrived at the Macdonald family at 10:00pm.
Lex was so good during the drive it made it really easy to handle the long trip. We got to see some fireworks as we went threw Logan, and we rolled into Newton we found we had another surprise waiting for us; A little home away from home! Our mother Tammy and Sister Qessa had set up a tent, and put a mattress all made up, and a bed of blankets for Lex, a rocking chair in the corner, and just outside a table with a lamp. We had a good night sleep and the next day we went to our family Reunion in Hyrum. That night we went to "Get Smart" with Kareena, Chalyce, an Marqessa; it is so funny!!!
Saturday we spent with the Jorgensen's we took Lex swimming for the first time, at Glendale lake, it was such a hot day we thought it would be fun, he didn't mind it but the water was a little cold and so he didn't last very long.

We then went back home and had a cookout. My mom made her marinated grilled chicken. Mmmmmmmm!!! before bed we played "the celestial companion" game, the one we got for our wedding and hadn't played till now, it was a lot of fun. We learned some things we didn't know about my parents.


we ended up leaving Sunday and got home around 1:00am we were ready to fall into bed, and that's what we did.

Finally asleep

Lex has been so fussy the last two days and he is constantly wanting to have something in his mouth, all I can figure is that he has some teeth bothering him and we shall see if they come threw this time or not.
I have not had a moment while he is awake to get anything done because he wants to be held all the time. But I have been able to at least keep up on the house.

I was playing with Alexander and he started getting the giggles so I started tickling him and these were the results!

Hiking in Big Horn Mountains

The Guys had Saturday off so we were able to go hiking up in the mountains. It is so beautiful and we had a lot of fun. Rick packed Alexander, Seth carried the camera, and I brought the drinks. We hiked down to a ledge that stuck out into the canyon.



I thought I would introduce Lex to dirt and it seems he liked it!







As much as I tried to keep the dirt out of his mouth he still was successful in getting some to his mouth!



He didn't seem to mind it ether!!!

Fathers Day

I just want to wish our fathers a wonderful fathers day! and say THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO!!!!!

We enjoyed our fathers day, we started out with a nice long motorcycle ride (thanks wendy for watching Alexander!) were we went up North to a small town in Montana. Made it back in time to go to church. Got home around 4:00pm and I made Rick enchaladas and we had a Chocolet Cream Pie for desert Mmmmm! We also at some watermelon and Alexander had a blast with that one

Rick came home for lunch today and had and hour, so we went outside to enjoy the beautiful sunny day. Lex got to have some tummy time and I worked on getting this blog put together. As soon as Rick headed off to work it started to Rain big drops so we ran into the house, it only lasted 5 min. but it was enough to get us in for the time being. we are headed out in a few.
